Cartier

Had a chance to play with the new steel 'Tank SolarBeat' that is due to be released Internationally September first. Amazing looking watch, that shares the same good looking case as the one of the Tank Louis Cartier and has such a great and vintage lookin...  

But as in Europe, I am sure there will be a run on the colored ones that are made in a One-Shot. The SolarBeat is production.

and some of the other brands like JLC and B&M may follow later with their models. There might be exclusivity for Cartier during the first period.

They have made the watch smaller and replaced the clasp (it is/ was a very nice clasp) with a pin buckle.

I think it is safe to say that Cartier has left the folding buckle, that for years was supplied with almost any watch. The buckle was always a bit difficult for the salespeople, especially when a new strap was needed. Often the buckle ended up not in the ... 

16 years between "servicing" according to Cartier.

Congratulations, I heard that it was sold out pretty soon. Now we have to wait for the launch, which seems to be in early November. Cartier adjusted the release date. GEO
