'back in 1966 to 1972. Cartier was bought by 2 Hollywood producers name Edward and Harry Lee Denziger. During that period, Harry commissioned his team at Cartier to design a one off watch for himself . This is the watch. Documents by Cartier own curator Eric Nussbaum confirm this was was a unique piece made for Harry and was never made commercially produced

Truly impressive how such a design was conceived and executed. And I thought MB&F were the originators of this general type of motif, but I can certainly imagine inspiration coming from pieces like this. Thanks for sharing.
