What do you think of the Pebble?

The 36mm Pebble watch, which dates back to 1972, was re-released, for the first time since then, in a 36mm case, last month. At first, I thought, would it not be too small, but it seems that the case design wears larger than expected. My wrist in the pict...

The size really amazed me

Normally a flat 36mm, wears pretty small. But this models wears great on an average wrist. GEO

I love this unmistakable Cartier design …

In a world of sports watches and lookalikes this watch stands out for all the right reasons. 36mm isn’t a problem for me as many classic watches that I enjoy are this size as is the excellent original Rolex Explorer. Your photos show just how beautiful th...

Suits you great Geo…

Case design is gorgeously smooth, reminds me of LF Galet pebbly-ness (or the vice-versa). Best, Mahesh.,

Thank you Mahesh !

I have only one problem with the Pebble

It is reserved for Cartier's VVIP customers so it is near impossible to buy one. A lovely watch!

Gorgeous !

Size looks greats and the design is a cool vintage one. If I were a VVIP I’d ask for a platinum version with Chinese lacquer dial, old Cartier vibes

You do not need to be a VVIP

to apply for a custom order watch. But Cartier does not offer this service for any of their models. GEO

You might be correct…

But didn’t Wei from Revolution Watch on YT didn’t get a custom platinum Crash from them somehow ? Also the Singapore Watch Club had some vintage models customized by Cartier for one of their recent anniversaries if I remember well. Anyway I’m not a specia...

Sure

Cartier turns some of their vintage models as a custom order. But not every model. What the Singapore Watch Club ordered was simply amazing! GEO

To be as usual fully honest I'm rarely a fan of re-editions vs. the original models --- they can't compete in significance/historical value, which is a huge part of Cartier's charm...

But there's no doubt this watch is beautiful --- modern with an obvious vintage feel, unmistakably Cartier, and exclusive enough to make it a valuable addition Enjoy.

Thank you!!

I’m a fan too. But…

…I think it’s a watch that needs to worn with the right clothes, the right style. From what I’ve seen Geo, you can pull this one off. But I think many of us could not.

In 1972/73 Cartier had a smaller version too.

I just saw it at an exhibition. GEO

Are'nt they the only one?

I am always surprised how Cartier makes the cases of watches like the Pebble, Crash, but also the Ballon bleu.

To give you a better idea of how the watch behaves during the day. GEO ...

too small, grandpa vibes and..

totally not a flex 😅

Personally, I adore this watch and was really excited to see it released

I was disappointed by the pricing, putting it out of reach for me, and the LE nature of it. I would have loved for Cartier to make it similar to the Crash with a limited amount of pieces produced each year with no cap/end on the duration of production. I ...
