Back to your question, there is a difference with the example you've given - Longines & ETA. 

You may need to follow the structure of the Group and companies.  

In this case Bulgari is the like the 'parent' company.  Bulgari fully owns both GG and DR. It is quite an outright case.

Whereas Longines, ETA and Frédéric Piguet, they are counterparts... companies/subsidiaries of different sector (Longines is under the watches & jewelery' sector while ETA & FP are under the 'Production' sector) which are owned by the Swatch Group.
