personally i own the skeleton and love wearing it... stealth and an engineering marvel. best of luck going through a decision making process on these.... personally i would love to see the new chrono but have not yet had a chance to do so in the real.

when I understood how that worked did I also comprehend what you mentioned about the integration of the clasp. Ingenious and super comfortable, indeed. And the movements are obviously something to marvel at, too. Didn't take any movement pictures because ...

These things happen - I had a kind of similar experience with my JLC. I am just sad it is off my wrist. It is such an addictive watch to wear.

A lot of famous watchmakers own Octo Finissimos.

I'll say I like them best in titanium--the extremely matte finish makes them look almost like concrete, which really emphasis the watch's peculiarity.

I don’t know about the strap though, the bracelet is such an integral part of the design. But best to see it in person as you plan.

However, the "insubstantial" feel of the titanium bracelet was probably the only aspect that didn't win me over and would at least take me some time to get used to.

For me, it’s that insubstantial feeling of the bracelet which I like. I have a few watches with Ti cases and bracelets and I love the feeling of not feeling anything on your wrist while still having that look of a bracelet (which I prefer). It’s also why ...
