Hi Aaron, unfortunately...
...I don't know which GG watch it was.
My information is based on a Press Release from GG's Baselworld 2009 Press Kit CD, in which the following statement appears:
" In addition to perpetual
calendars and repeater devices, Gérald Genta also introduced the first ever
self-winding tourbillon movement."
This does rather seem at odds with the usual received wisdom - that AP's cal 2870 was the first such movement.
It should be a simple matter to request clarification by email from GG's press officer, but I'm not sure who that is these days. I wonder if any other readers have further information.
