Bulgari Octo on bracelet - some quick pics

Aug 07, 2013,16:26 PM

I just received a Bulgari Octo on steel bracelet for an on-the-wrist review, so I get to enjoy this beauty for the next month.

It's a cross between a sports and dress watch with a hint of both conservative and "power watch" design.  Weird description right?  You got to see this watch in the flesh to appreciate its full beauty.

The metal bracelet is superbly designed and looks like a perfect integration with the case and lugs.  Comfort and wearability of the bracelet is awesome.  On the standard bracelet length, I had 4 links taken out by my wonderful local Bulgari Boutique to fit my 6.75" wrist.  The watch doesn't flip flop around on my wrist even if I flick my wrist around back and forth because the case snugly lies on the center of my wrist with the help of the extra wide bracelet.

Kudos to Bulgari design team for making this bracelet extremely wide at the lugs and then slowly tapering to the deployant clasp.  Excellent design for maximum comfortability!  Whoever likes wearing bracelet watches, you'll definitely love this new Octo on bracelet IMO!

Here are 2 quick wrist shots.

What a beautiful piece. Works well as a dress watch and a sports watch. I like that it is also water resistant to 100m. Looks great on your wrist. Definitely added to my shopping list. Dean

Hi Anthony, This watch wasn't designed by a Bulgari design team, but by the late great Gerald Genta
