I have recently managed to acquire the blue dial stainless steel model- really stunning. I wanted to just share a few photos of the movement that I have taken- it really is nice and the photos don't do it justice. Hope you enjoy them 🙂 Richard ...

Maybe it's an optical illusion...

The rotor is just under that one gear!

When you do ultra thin movements, and this is definitely an ultra thin movement (it is the second thinnest automatic movement in existence), you have a lot of these strange overlaps! The height of the rotor is actually reduced for the sake of that brass g...

It looks like the rotor has a beveled edge...

Finishing is actually pretty good here...

First of all, it's important to note that it's very difficult to put a beveled edge and polished anglage on brass parts when they are EXTRA THIN. And these are likely to be brass parts (not German Silver). So considering the extra thin aspect, the finishi...

Haven't gotten great magnification...

The PP machine marks aren't to be too heavily criticized. Keep in mind, German silver (used by German watch brands and Villeret) can be more easily polished than brass (a harder but more traditional watchmaking material). Plus, the rhodium plating on bras...

The case, the bracelet and the movement are all three so well done. I love the way it wears and often forget to take it off when going to bed, because I hardly notice that I am still wearing it. GEO
