A good time to celebrate the 10th anyversarry
Apr 10, 2022,08:02 AM
It is important to have the right AD. Sorry my AD have not much that impressed me, so time to move on. Maybe they need to add more luxury brands into their portfolio.
I guess Bulgari is something for me, and my AD. They have already Tag so they have a connection to LVMH. Zenith would also a great opportunity, but i know they want also service watches on their own, and send the under warranty peaces to a branded service certified watch centre.
10 years the OF under the skies, that promised a lot.

And there it is, the 10th anniversary OF :-)

I received a phone call from Bulgari earlier this week in order to make an appointment for pickup and today was B(ulgari)-day . Spent 1,5 hours discussing watches and jewellery, drinking champagne and feeling really welcome by the staf of the Amsterdam bo...
Looks like a delicious meal!

Cheers to saving money! I feel we don't cheers each other often enough for forgoing a watch and letting someone else buy it! We should do that more often! Besides, every watch we pass on, means more money for another watch (or in your case, beautiful shoe...
He needs to go on a diet!

He will outgrow his pants! I can't afford to outgrow my Kiton pants.

A must
By: Weems@8 : April 10th, 2022-08:12
The biggest Italian watch inspirited by the Roman forum is a must for u. Be a Patek Philippe connaisseur is maybe the reason no Bulgari reach your wrist. No worries, i have no Bulgari at all, but that go to change. I like to try some models, i think an Oc...
Yeah. I really like that Tadao Ando in titanium.
By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-12:36
That one is my favorite! When I saw that one I was really impressed. It's so meaningful too, since the watch looks like concrete, Ando's preferred medium.
HUGE CONGRATS!

Is this your first Octo Finissimo? My main advice is that the micro rotor doesn't seem to consistently wind very well. So you need to be "very active" to keep it wound. Some days, after walking 20,000 steps (walking 15 kilometers), the watch still stopped...
Thank you!
By: Daandeluxe : April 9th, 2022-14:10
Funny thing is that the staff mentioned some of the difficulties other owners had with winding. Bulgari already received some OF’s in their service center because of this issue. Now Bulgari tells new owners to fully wind the watch before wearing. A full w...
Yup! I do this.
By: patrick_y : April 9th, 2022-14:25
I do this as well. 75 rotations. You hear a tiny click in the movement if you put it right next to your ear. The watch then seems to run for around 5-6 days before stopping. Maybe 7-8 days if you're really active. It's not bad. But my other micro rotor wa...
FWIW, my Patek 240 winds just fine
By: blau : April 9th, 2022-21:19
What I mean is: it's a micro rotor that I've never had to think about as being any different from any standard full-rotor auto I've owned.
My 240 is not perfect...
By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-04:27
My 240s have generally never been perfect, come to think of it. One was my primary watch for 10+ years, and it had a power reserve indication. Sometimes I'd wear the watch for a fairly active day, and the power reserve wouldn't really move. Wouldn't go up...
Right--I'm not so sure how mine is
By: blau : April 10th, 2022-13:13
Without a power reserve indicator, I don't *really* know how efficiently it's been winding. I just know that it's been practically functional.
Good!
By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-13:24
Glad to read that! And good to know! Yours may be winding better than mine!
WHAT??? Only 2 for all of Northern Europe???
By: patrick_y : April 9th, 2022-14:28
Oslo, Helsinki, AMS, Sweden... ONLY TWO? Wow! I imagine USA got 10-15%, so 20-30 pieces. Europe typically gets around 20-25%, and the bulk goes to Asia. Japan used to have its own allocation for most brands, separate from the rest of Asia. I don't know ab...
Crossing my fingers!
By: patrick_y : April 9th, 2022-15:15
Hopefully we see some more on our website! I know on our website we have at least ten or eleven owners of the 200 piece Bulgari Tadao Ando. And back in the day when Montblanc Villeret came out with the 50 piece steel 16.29 blue dial, we had around 20 some...
Fantastic

wow super nice catch👏 congratulations
By: christianch : April 9th, 2022-19:51
mine (manual wind) says hello - I love to hear that in this day and age where most boutiques turned into snobs some brands like Bulgari are still treating the clients well. Great watch! ...
Super nice piece! I really like this piece!
By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-13:21
This is the manual wind version they made for REVOLUTION right? This is another one of those pieces I think they did AN EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD JOB on!
thank you ! yes it is the revolution manual wound
By: christianch : April 10th, 2022-17:29
I have to admit that I always thought the new automatic version were better but your enthusiasm about the revolution and the issues with the microrotor are very interesting! I should give it more wrist time 😁
Definitely! Give it more wrist time!
By: patrick_y : April 11th, 2022-03:47
It's one of my favorite Octo Finissimos that Bulgari has made. One of the best dials too. Very clever dial.
Congratulations!
By: blau : April 9th, 2022-21:21
This watch is SO DAMN COOL! I'm so impressed by the regular Octo Finissimo but this dial? It's to die for!
Wow! You really like this dial!
By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-13:20
I really like the regular OF just the way it is. But yes, this one is definitely very special as well!
