Why compare finishing of one brand vs another?
The question: “does the finishing meet your expectations and do you belief it’s worth the money” is much more relevant.
I personally belief that the finishing of Breguet is superb especially their quilloche dials and their uni color emaille dials.
And I like virtually all cations and models of the brand.
Breguet Finishing VS AP/PP/VC
Any thoughts around finish quality vs comparably priced watches? I really like that they use hand guilloched dials everywhere instead of stamping like Journe and AP do (on the overseas).
my breguet is finished at least as nice
as any vc or patek I have had. ALS may be slightly better than all of them

Breguet movements are hand finished, Patek are not.

They are better at fooling customers with cheaper mechanical finishing.

Yes, of course, but at that price point, you find ALS and Breguet will compete on those terms, or thereabouts, with higher end finishing and interesting movements.
People do seem to overlook RG, but they are very nice.
