My thanks, I guess I have the email of Breguet North America and I could ask, but it will be a random email! Better to go based on a relationship.

Please tell your contact hi from NYC! Also, may we talk about a production version of the Only Watch type XX, perhaps with a modern movement, black dial and 39mm?
Ooh, and the possibility of limited edition (but not 10 pieces like that blue enamel 5175 without the dial window we all would like!) of some models with a few tweaks for purist-types? Examples are, well, that date window-free blue enamel... we can come up with a few others, I'm sure (the 7727 10hz without the "10hz" on the dial or a new Marine without the lume-filled Romans, but rather like the Bucherer version, etc.!).
Or even a program where Breguet fans who have bought a few watches could order a watch with a custom guilloche pattern (to be negotiated between what one wants and what a guillocheur can do)? It needn't be limited to that person, but the first person gets "0001" as their serial number for the dial... this way, Breguet can discover perhaps some innovative new patterns and see if the dial in question makes a big buzz on instagram and here before rolling it out. A win-win!
These are a few ideas, anyway, Breguet has some scope to build a more devoted following.

Vintage Breguet Diver. The Sea Snake.

 By: amanico : June 13th, 2020-15:54
As far as I know, two vintage Breguet Diver are known. The Case Number 1613 and 1646. One, the 1613, has been auctioned by Phillips, the other has been photographed by our friend Roberto. The 1613: The 1646: AS 1581: How many were made? Hard to say... 100...

That's amazing! I had no idea these existed.

I always wonder how divers could make out the time spent underwater using those dive watches with no minute marks on the bezel. Thanks for showing it Nicolas!

Indeed,

I often see that on those beautiful dive watches you post... Precise bottom and decompression times are (well, they mostly were) measurements that make the difference between life and death! That's basically why "more professional" dive watches had comple...
