The one on the left
Breguet made the same key mistake as AP with the Code 11:59. Money was spent here, but it's not clear at a glance where it went. The newer watch's dial is intricate and expensive to make, but it comes across as austere rather than opulent. The full-width lug was a mistake, and it seems almost as if Breguet half-committed to a full integrated bracelet sports watch before losing its nerve. I see thousands of used watches per year, and I've hardly encountered any of the post-2018 Marine either at work or on wrists.

The one on the left. IMO the only attractive aspect of the one on the right is the ocean wave motif.
But the Roman numerals, hands, date window location, case and lugs are better on the left.
5527 should have been the Marine II

The consensus is that the new Marine is less preferable, but I think it's worth considering.
I find the chronograph the least compelling since it lost center minutes. For the other models, the new models are fun in person.
