Soon to be auctioned: Vintage Breguet Diving Watch. A rare bird.
Next week end, Phillips will auction this watch, a very rare Breguet diving watch from the 60's.
I knew the Case Number 1646, here is the Nr 1613.
37 mm case, AS 1581 movement, screw in case back... an incredible allure! It would have been better without the date, for sure.
Now that the new Marine collection has been unveiled, it sounded interesting to me to show you the ancestor.
I read that circa 60 were made. So finding one is quite challenging.

What a great looking watch.
I’ve never seen this model before and, as you say, it’s very alluring. I love the dial - no superfluous text and the big round indices the same size as the one on the hour hand. Lovely. Regards Kev.

And had a chance to handle that watch, it's very nice. The Breguet in that auction that impressed me most was the gold type xx that's for sale. A Phillips rep had said that Breguet had only ever made 3 of them in gold. I'm sure they will both go off at a ...
