Some similarities ;-) The story goes that Helmut Sinn and the Breguet family knew each other well ....

... and both had obviously strong ties to aeronautics.

Powered by a Valjoux 88, the Sinn watch - based on my exchange with Helmut Sinn back in 2011 - was produced in the early-/mid 1970ies and Helmut Sinn estimated to have prouced only "a few". There is also an exact same watch with the Matthey Tissot logo.

Christies had sold a Breguet version (like on the left in the first picture) on May 13, 2023 for CHF 113'400.-- and had the remark "less than 10 examples are known publicly". Breguet, different than Helmut Sinn, has a solid set of archive information and the Christies watch was originally sold according to those archives on March 9, 1967.

Cheers, HSTE

Mathey Tissot chrono triple quantième? That’s an unexpected resemblance, at least to me!
