Some live impressions of the new Type XXI timepieces

Thanks to Breguet Germany I had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the two colorful new Type XXI 3815 and capture some impressions in photos. These are predominantly meant to highlight the many lovely details and provide a real reflection on how those colors come across in real life.

Based on the press photos I trended towards the green 3815, now with having experienced the two watches in real life I have a preference for the orange one.

I am not a fan of either color.

A cam-operated and largely machine finished chronograph movement in a very thick (15.2 mm) case is a bit disappointing from a brand like Breguet.

They should learn from their Swatch Group sister brand Blancpain. If Breguet goes back to the drawing board and presents a hand-finished column wheel chronograph movement with horizontal clutch housed in a case that is maximum 14.0 mm thick then they shou...

...and it looks a bit chunky. Kill the date and slim it down.
