Sir David Salomons, Baronet: Dod's Peerage 1913...prelude to Breguet

Note: I'm not sure what is the best forum for this post but given Sir David's importance to Breguet I have posted in the Breguet forum.

For the easy-going Breguet fan like myself (I'm really a duffer) it is easy to think of David Salomons emerging from the womb as a full-fledged scholar of Breguet but truth is Sir David was a full-fledged man of art and science well-before happening upon a Breguet watch.

Enclosed is David Salomons' brief entry from Dod's Peerage 1913 for the Breguet fan interested in one of the major Breguet figures of the 20th century. I think Sir David's wide ranging interest in art and science evinced by Dod's Peerage reached a crescendo with Breguet: the very embodiment of art and science which proved enchanting (if not all consuming) to David Salomons.
