First - all in your head, but know the feeling!
Second, yes they will register it under your name and you will get a letter confirmation of your registration into the archives. I would suggest filling it out and doing the online upload as much quicker process. Congratulations!

I just submitted the registration online. I'm pretty optimistic since I registered another pre-owned watch I had, and to my surprise, it went through. So I'm now in the book once and am now going for twice! Here's a link to the pics of the watch.
