Question on Breguet 7027

May 22, 2020,05:09 AM

Hello all! After spending a lot of time reading through these forums and debating to purchase a 7027 for several years, I finally pulled the trigger on a used piece!

I am thrilled but have a question to the community: has anybody some 'de-coloration (corrosion?)' marks on the movement of their 7027? Mine shows a little round spot around the escape wheel jewel (see picture).

I don't mind it at all, I just wanted to check if anybody knows what could be the cause and if it is something I should worry about? The watch is from 2011.

Thanks a lot! Patrick

From what I can see on the picture it looks not like an oil stain. If so I belief you’ve got nothing to worry about just make sure you don’t miss the next service and point it out to the service station

congratulation on your new acquisition

it's in fact as said, oil marks which I think darken with UV, I have a few on mine too.
