Breguet

not including "vintage"...

Hi Jacky,

Breguet re-introduced the Type XX with the Aeronavale Ref. 3800 in or around 1994 with the Cal. 582 movement.  All Aeronavale chronos have flyback chronograph functions with the minute counter at 3 o'clock and NO date display.  The basic version is in polished stainless steel with matte black dial, white lumi hands and a solid back, but variants in other metals and a few with display backs have been made over the years.   The originals had two-tone crowns, but those are getting harder to find as crowns generally get changed over time and replacement crowns are plain steel.  The bracelet is also polished.

Some time thereafter (late '90s?), Breguet introduced the Transatlantique Ref. 3820 with circular brushed bezel, gloss dial, white gold lumi hands and date at 6 o'clock and the Cal. 582Q movement.  It is available in steel or some precious metals and a version in titanium with a carbon fibre dial also exists.

For a period of time around the turn of the century, they were also making a Transatlantique Alarm ref. 3860, with the Cal. 579 movement based on the Lemania automatic alarm movement Omega used awhile back in their Memomatics.  I believe it also had a circular brushed bezel, gloss dial and date at 6 o'clock like the Transatlantique chrono, and could be found in steel or (less often) some precious metals.

In 2004 or thereabouts Breguet introduced the Type XXI Transatlantique ref. 3810 with the Cal, 584Q movement.  It is larger (around 42 mm, the previous models were all in the 40 mm range), has a flyback chrono with central minutes counter, (non-independent) 24 hour hand at 3 o'clock, date at 6 o'clock and a much more elaborate dial in sort of a chocolate brown color.  It's available in steel and rose gold (at least).
