Maybe for one of the pics, but in the other one, the blue being splotchy like that could only happen at the factory?

The problem is that once you have seen it, you can't unsee. I did this to my Lange 1815 Up Down and found a small imperfection on the dial. I ended up selling that watch even though I would have never been able to see it with my naked eyes. That decision ...

A friend of mine has one from 1998 or so. These are pretty well made. Yours is imo ok but not as good as the first generation The last generation is a watch I don’t like, don’t like how case and strap are attached But that’s ofcourse personal taste That’s... 

Macro lens have a tendency to ruin watch collecting for some people.

Poor finishing and poor quality control. You said it yourself "mistakes". The first photo shows a hand that has been mishandled. A tweezer that slept, something like that. This is an accident and yes,this is not acceptable,it shouldn't have left the bench...
