I think the cheap winder is not the issue
It is a winder that has the right functionality that matches the watches TPD (turns pr day) capabilities. But in general you get what you pay for. So I would not put my watches on a winder that I do not control and understand their cycle per day.
As you clearly noted the orbita database seems to be the only clear source of the watch tpd requirements so we are supplied information from the winder company rather than the manufacturer.
It would seem obvious that the manufacturer should be the one to supply this info as a matter of course within every manual but alas this is not the case.
I know there are soooo many of us with this worry on our mind as we watch our winders in action.

Bill, Thanks for the response... Yes I heard about the clutch, that does not let overwinding to happen... But does not that means that this poor cluch takes action almost continuously???... The problem with winders is that the only literature one can get ...
