I have 3 Breguets, the price of each would buy a new car

......and for each car I would get an owners manual telling me everything about the car, how to do everything and it would take a week to read and understand.

From Breguet I get a book in many languages which has a couple of paragraphs on how to change the time and what each hand or knob does. It takes two minutes to read.

From the replies to this thread is seems that we have a lot to learn about watch winders....we have a fair outlay invested in fine instruments and there is a big difference in the times that a winder turns according to various owners.

Mine is set at 33 revolutions every 18 minutes....this is far different to some of the times mentioned by your replies.

While a watch forum like this is an excellent venue to enjoy conversation and gain knowledge about a compatable interest, it does highlight areas of failure in the industry.

I can understand that watch winders were not around many years ago and it might take a while for a watch company to catch up with consumer trends.......but, and as it has been already suggested in the replies......I for one agree, and think, that it is essential to make an approach to Breguet to get some official and factual recommendations on how their watches should be wound on a winder.

I do not know the procedure and so let us see if a moderator picks up on this and offers help .....and if not I will make a direct approach first to the moderators... and if it is not their call to do so, then to Breguet I will go if necessary to get some facts.

This is information that Breguet owners should know.

This may have a good outcome.

Thank you for your replies.

Kindest regards to all,

Jack
