If I ask you what is an unusual Breguet, you will certainly think about the Type XX. Even though, decades after decades, it became popular and an indisputable part of Breguet. Here, I will show you two very unusual watches you will have hard time believin...

Unusual. I like them both but prefer the first one.

They’ve got typical 1970s cases and I wonder if they were a less expensive offering from Breguet as the quartz watches were becoming popular then. It would be interesting to see the finishing of the movements. Regards Kev.

The chronograph is exquisite [nt]

...I've seen the first but not the second (chrono). Both are very nice.

70s... not the best decade

I was born in the 70s, but not everything was better back then (cars and watches were experiencing a difficult soul-searching). The time-only model has some appeal but it is so far away from the brand ethos that we appreciate today! Do you think that toda...

A Purists re-edition would be great Now, does anyone have Mr Breguet's phone number? The 60s was a much better decade altogether: this is another example

Bréguet without the typical characteristics!

No Bréguet hands, numerals - incredible catch Nico ! Why double crown on the chrono ? Best, Mahesh.,

Interesting! It would be interesting to see the inside (origin anad finish of the movement)

Another unusual is the XX fitted with the alarm movement. I always wondered whether it was a JLC memovox movement inside, do you know? Best, E.

Big fan of these watches Nicolas.

Here's an interesting article from a few years ago about the time only. Regards, Baruch

These watches do not embody the design language of Breguet

Interesting to see for sure - thank you! I’m curious to see if they ever go down these roads again. I hope not I like where they are headed with their current design language (for the most part).
