Happy or Sad Ending?
Hi all,
First and foremost a very warm hello to everyone. I have not been very active on the forum lately due to life's other commitment but felt really bad about not providing a closure to this post. My apologies that it took me so long to do it.
So to continue where I left off .... I pressed on after the initial set back and allow SWATCH service centre to send the watch back to Breguet, something I should have done in the first place. Oh well... The watch was away from me for a further 9 months before I get a call to pick up the watch. Credits to the service centre staff, they called me in advance to inform me the estimate arrival date.
To be fair to Breguet, it was all good in the end!!! The dial was completely replaced, together with all the (7) hands, they made it a point to not re-use any of the hands which was impressive. The case back was polished to a spotless mirror finish with a new sticker applied to it. So other than my strap, the watch was immaculate when I pick it up at the service centre. So the watch did not become worst in condition, it was actually in much better shape after the service. My warranty was also extended by a further 6 months.
I appreciate all the replies from all of you on this tread. And I remain a loyal fan of Breguet.
For short, happy ending! Factory service, it's worth the wait...
best regards

I'm actually so upset that I didn't feel like talking, but just had to vent it out. I took the leap and send my watch to SWATCH service centre to rectify the OXIDIZED minute counter hand. I had the choice of sending it back to the factory or have a set of...

I recently purchased a La Tradition from a local AD, didn't notice anything until I got home and took out the 15x loupe to "admire"my new baby. Upon closer inspection, i discovered that the entry pallet had a AIR BUBBLE in it, to make matters worse, there...

Hi aaron, thanks for your post. You're very luck to have you watch replaced! Anyway, I already got my watch back in 2008, just posting to provide a (very) belated updated. The same service staff attended to me then and she's nice. I guess both our encount...
