I had heard Arnold & Son was doing customizations and they are all "in-house" when you include the rest of the Citizen group so I asked about a replacement case in PT instead of RG and plating the dial of a pre-owned dead beat center seconds tourbillon
They responded with a piece unique custom build of ~$300k and chalked it up to the amount of custom work required from external suppliers 🙄
The CEO was super polite about it and responsive so I appreciated that but that is stupid. At $300k he was just wasting my time as well as his because there's no way to look at that where it makes any sense at all. If I found $300k in the couch cushions and a note saying I had to spend it on a watch or be cursed forever there's zero chance I or really anyone would ever spend that with Arnold & Son.

Love this! I like this so much I had asked a brand to make me a red guilloche dial version of their tourbillon based on this pic last year
But the quote was so crazy I think the breguet would be cheaper... and you get TWO tourbillons!
