... to celebrate the new acquisition. I tried taking some macros today. The domed crystal made it difficult for my lens to focus. That and an unsteady hand.

Fun with Macros...sometimes I enjoy them but at times I avoid them. You #6 is perfect but a luk at #8 and you think somethings amiss on that chorno secs hand. But we live with it...

...when you even see spot them in top of the line PP. Someone the other day saw some rough finishing on a bridge - Unacceptable or rule it as just one of 250 parts is the Q.

I saw that too. Invisible to the naked eye but an uneven finish under the macro. Given the unavoidable scratches it will acquire on my wrist, I can live with it. I'm curious if the ALS and PP owners examine their purchases under a loupe before purchasing ... 

I do irrespective of the piece. I have walked out on the white 5711 since the II marker wasnt aligned and didnt quite have symmetrical finish. I have also seen scratch on the plate..
