Dear all Breguet fans, I need your help...

To pick one of these 4 for me smile

Some background info and enquiry:
(1) The hardest thing to me is WG vs YG for these two retro-style timepieces.
(2) I have own 5-6 decent timepieces including IWC, GS, Habring2, as well as Breguet 3817ST. All are steel.
(3) I am approaching 40 next year. An excuse for celebration with a great Breguet. Please forgive me :P
(4) I barely wear suit. I know this maybe critical for the more dressy style's YG...
(5) But I really like the colour gold in these candidates, especially for the silver guilloche dial.
(6) Because I believe YG + guilloche is the original/traditional Breguet style back in Day 1, am I correct?
(7) But wearable is the other factor. I wish to wear it more frequently.
(8) I just afraid YG will attract too much attention if I wear it at casual way?
(9) Any fans wearing Breguet YG in non-dressy style? What do you think?
(10) Most importantly, can you show me the photo? :P
(11) I love both 5707 and 7137. But I can only afford one at this moment. Difficult decision.
(12) So, what is you guys thought? And thank you so much for joining this brainstorming session smile

Thanks much!
Arno

Hello Arno!

When choosing a metal for the watch, the first thing that comes to my mind is the skin tone of the wearer. If you are caucasian, I would suggest white gold. If you are tanned, Malay or Filipino, I would suggest rose gold as it will blend well with your sk...

I much prefer the 7137...

I love its dial lay-out and it is for me a classic. About the case material, it is a matter of taste: YG is very consistent with Breguet style WG is easier to wear in any context... It is up to you! Fx

7137 for me

The blue moon phase makes the dial pop and the date sub-dial is more classic looking than the date window.

For me the 7137 in WG hands down. I owned a Reveil du Tsar and although a very lovely watch, for me it was too busy and not the

classic styled Breguet. I love a moon phase also. The WG is easiest to wear and more versatile in my opinion. In WG the watch is very “crisp” and the blue moons looks great against it. Good luck and whatever you decide you will be well served and I’m sure...

I prefer 5707 in WG

Either 5707 for me

I love the 7 versions of guilloche and always drawn to the double crowns of an alarm. No bad decisions either way.

I like the 5707, the 7137 is close to the famous Breguet No.5, but needs an update, I think.

For a moon phase, I would look at the charming 7337 or 7787. I wear yg, it adds a little class to a dressed-down look. On a strap it's not too much (a yg bracelet is what pushes it over the edge for me). Wg is charming and nice, no wrong choices here!

Just an update for you guys. I went to the Boutique again and try them on wrist...

It seems the 5707 (Guilloche) is a bit more interesting, more popup, more wow-factor to me once I put it on my wrist. Tough one. To my surprise, 7337 is a bit too "flat" on the dial, and I really not in favor of both day and date windows... The alarm Yell...

I suppose I’m a bit biased...
