the canvas straps are rugged looking and give an otherwise blingy watch a more casual look so don't know if they would be classified as elegant 😉, more like "homeless chic" 😁
Call me "homeless" or "urban" but I think there's a nice resort casual elegance to them...
It's like wearing Cucinelli, all of it goes together well. They're all about the same level of casualness, they're often in tones that all go together well. I have a feeling that this watch might look "right at home" with many different casual outfits.

I wore a suit for many years and transitioned to long sleeve shirt shirts and ultimately to Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirts 😁. Nowadays, it is all about a comfy T shirt or TB Hawaiian shirt and some sort of digital camo pants or shorts hence the canvas NATO ...
Took a few of the same watch with the blue canvas NATO and Yokozuna...
I think the blue canvas looks even more casual than the military green. These 3 canvas NATO straps are a good start and have given me more ideas to dress down a few other watches 😉 And the blue/charcoal grey strap is not a bad match to Jesse J and Yokozun...
