Question for La Tradition 7027 owners
Sep 09, 2021,22:11 PM
Hi all,
I just received my 7027 from service. Very happy to have it back and it looks lovely.
I have a question about the crown and winding. When you wind the watch and turn the crown clockwise, there is a clicking noise. Once full wind is reached, I normally turn the crown anti-clockwise a few turns. When you turn crown anti-clockwise, is there any clicking noise?
The reason I ask is because before this service, I am sure when I turn the crown anti-clockwise, there are clicks. But now after this service, there are no clicks! No sound at all. No gears have been engaged.
Very grateful if any fellow owners of the 7027 can test their watch and tell me! Maybe I have just turned a bit more senile abs got my watches mixed up. But I am sure there is a “wind back click” when you turn the crown anti-clockwise!
Many thanks,
Chi Kai

No click anticlockwise

And that’s a good habit to give it one turn anticlockwise after you fully wind it, in order to disengage the barrel’s ratchet… I was told this by a watchmaker.
Yup

I do the same with all of my manual watches.
Thank you all!

I am glad to hear that my watch is working fine but it may just be showing that I am turning slightly senile! Ha ha! Thanks again. BW, Chi Kai
