I don’t think it hides as much as the GMT model’s second dial does

What do you think about this new addition to the Tradition line? ...

+1. [nt]

Copy paste of information from Breguet's press release. 40mm, and automatic.

Case:18-carat white gold with finelyfluted caseband. Sapphire-crystal caseback. Diameter 40mm. Welded lugs with screw bars. Pushbutton for correcting the date at 10 o’clock. Water-resistant to 3 bar (30 meters).Dial:Engine-turnedby hand,18-carat silvered ...

I think we should get “The Count” to road test this one ☝️

And post a full review.

That’s really made me laugh...

 By: Cpt Scarlet : August 27th, 2020-11:16
I’ve just seen your post 😂

Don’t worry...

 By: Cpt Scarlet : August 27th, 2020-11:25
I’ll have a word 😉

I share the same sentiment...

Nevertheless it’s a great effort to add another complication to a wonderful watch

I must say I like the fact, there's no interference of the dial.

 By: George Gently : August 27th, 2020-02:21
It's a clean dial, no power reserve indication or retrograde seconds or whatever cluttering.

I like it!

Not quite monochrome, some nice blue accents. The dial layout is interesting and the date works - a winner for me, provided it is not too large

Measurements:

40,00 mm x 12,10 mm

So, it is automatic? [nt]

 By: amanico : August 27th, 2020-02:35

Yes [nt]

 By: George Gently : August 27th, 2020-02:38

Thanks, George. [nt]

my pleasure. [nt]

On the large side...

 By: VinnieD : August 27th, 2020-02:40
And the 10 o'clock pusher is to adjust the date I assume?

Yes, indeed [nt]

 By: George Gently : August 27th, 2020-02:42
to adjust the date.

Great watch no doubt about that

 By: Jurry : August 27th, 2020-02:46
But personally I’m not a big fan of those large retrograde date indicators. They eat up too much dial space for my taste

The date ring and pointer are quite delicate and thinn in real

By: COUNT DE MONET : August 27th, 2020-13:48
I would have aksed for a slightly broader date ring and pointer.

Very nice incorporation of the date.

But I am in the minority of those who really like the retrograde seconds hand, including how it overlaps the dial and so still prefer that model. But very well done.

It appears to be

 By: robsallnow : August 27th, 2020-04:07
a slightly modified Retrograde Seconds model with that piece to the left of the dial still in place but without the second hand attached

i think its very handsome, i like it [nt]

By: Mohannad (aka Riddler) : August 27th, 2020-04:34

I definitely like it!

 By: MTR : August 27th, 2020-04:51
For me it´s a harmonious solution for the date, although it hides a little bit of the movement. But the GMT indicator does this as well. Best Thomas

Looks really nice.

Love a retrograde function in a watch .

I’m on the side of liking it.

 By: Jay (Eire) : August 27th, 2020-05:31
However, those long lugs make the 40mm Tradition unwearable for me. Hoping to see some iteration in the smaller case too.

A very interesting new version.

Not bad at all....

Breguet makes Tradition Look Modern!

 By: patrick_y : August 27th, 2020-10:06
It looks like a very cool and modern watch to me!

This is quite nice...

 By: mdg : August 27th, 2020-10:17
...I think it works better in pink gold though. For what it is I think it's something of a bargain (MSRP white gold $38,600, pink gold $37,800).

I like it... a worthy addition to the Tradition lineup

 By: Brandon Skinner : August 27th, 2020-11:26
Personally, my favorite is still the 7097 but I think this is a great piece for someone who requires the date.
