It always baffles me that this watch gets so little press vs. a Daytona or a Speedmaster, considering its lineage and history.
I guess it's a good thing, as they are to be found second hand at absolute bargain prices compared to what you get for the money, from a top notch brand.

The blue dial and the SS bracelet makes this Type XX my favorite (with the possible exception of a certain someone's salmon dial edition.) I'd trade my black dial on the leather strap for this in a millisecond.
I agree, the bracelet is actually one of the nicest bracelets around
among sports watches like this. The blind closure is gorgeous.

I think the blue dial gives up too much of the watch's pilot tool essence. Black dial all the way for me!
