I would not opt for red stitching though - the watch is to classic to go chic!  Off-white stitching would be my choice. 

And certainly brown would go in every way - maybe even witch 2 red (minimal) stitches...

I think it would match perfectly.

From the phone it looks almost black to me and seems to be a great match...the important thing is for a strap to highlight that dial, which is superlative!👍Cheers. [nt]

If you want to have more color, then why not trying a bordeaux/burgundy red strap? At least that is an idea that I had already for my 5247.

+1 on a burgundy/bordeaux strap and make it from nubuck alligator. If you want to make it a bit more sporty, you could have white contrasting stitching as well 😉👍 [nt]
