Absolutely... though it won't be going near water at any time soon. I have had many pieces over the years and sure.. the resistance doesn't last forever. Great advice though.. thank you.

Thank you of sharing a very special approach to watches. In my case i refuse to pay over list price because the brand means their watches brings you status. And it annoys me that they mean every body likes bracelets. In that case Blancpain is different. I... 

Are the black portions also steel?

Hi, and thank you. No they aren't.. though I aren't sure what they are. I believe that on a limited version of one of these trilogy pieces the bracelet plastic was reinforced with fibre glass... though I am unsure what the composition is on this variant.

Maybe one of the other forum members will know. Regardless, still a great version.

I used to have the GMT version and it was supposedly made of fiberglass-reinforced rubber. It's definitely not a blackened steel link. Whatever the actual composition, it is tough and mine showed essentially no wear after many years.

welcome, The Air command with carbon was a nice edition which reduced the weight of the piece considerably whilst changing the look of the watch. The black bracelet pieces highlighted the dial colour. I had the all steel with a special modification.... Re...
