As you can see at the top of the picture, there is definitely enough space between the bracelet and the top of the case.
The bracelet uses the standard spring bar.

The watch is quite conservative in proportions - Both in terms of case size and around 10mm thickness. The bracelet definitely feels solid.

I have always been worried that the spring bar design may eat into the case lugs over time compared to other open-loop mesh straps.
