There are two chronograph seconds hands superimposed at center. When the chronograph starts by pressing the trigger at two, both move and remain superimposed until the trigger at ten is pushed to halt the first seconds hand. Then you write down that first...

... but the dial in the 40mm Flyback Split Second is indeed a bit larger than the dial of the 38mm Flyback. The similarity is coming from the dimensions of the numerals. If you compare to the 40mm Flyback Grande Date, that one has higher numerals and ther... 

Is the Split Second dial a full mm larger? Less ? More? If you happen to know... Thank you
