I love my Blancpains and have very little
trouble with them. For me, my experience has been they are very reliable. I long for the Leman case to come back. So pleasing.

Blancpain, like Breguet, and even more so, has been neglected by Swatchgroup.
I've heard claims that this is changing, but sustained proof is required at this point.

Though, I do feel Breguet's line up is being curated. BP's however is still a hodgepodge.
A few interesting Breguets are hinted to be in the pipeline, so there is movement and care within the neglect.
Just as you say, SG's regard for BP is uncertain when everything that isn't a Fifty Fathoms seems to be gathering cobwebs.

In my opinion yes.
It is hard to find perpetual calendar with 8 days power in other brand.
