Good remarks here.

Both the 1858 and CP2 watches have now been offered in multiple versions, probably will be the same here.
I am reminded of how AP used to get bashed hard for making limited variants of the Royal Oak Offshore. Ironic, now they seem to have little to no "limited editions", but the produce their desired references in such low numbers that they are most difficult to get. Yet many brands keep releasing the same watch with a new dial or strap or something, as it seems AP used to do.
I would love BP to just make the 500 pieces and be done, but as you indicate, we are wise to expect that will not happen.

Okay, I knew this year was a big one, 50th birthday parties for Monaco and Speedmaster, Rolex new Batman, steel Calatrava Patek..... 25th anniversary of Lange But I can say this, for me, totally out of the blue, the biggest hit is without any doubt the re...

Nice watch

Do not like the faux lume or propeller, but it is a great design overall and really fun. The hype may be real... it may be 'sold out' but Blancpain is --come on--easy to get in the aftermarket--always at attractive prices. I have not seen a new Blancpain ...

Blancpain historical re-edditions thend to do very well. But they are indeed exceptions.

Can you send me the list of watches that will rise in value? Will only buy those...

But in all seriousness, plenty of collectors buy what they love rather than speculate on future values. While regular run Blancpain is easy to get secondary like you said, plenty of limited edition pieces are damn near impossible - I decided to wait for t...

Well, lets see! Thanks for your reply!

Well some good points

 By: Miranda : May 27th, 2019-14:15
but I think this one will be the exception that proves the rule 1. The pull of the vintage and its influence 2. This will be the nearest version IF they make others ( which I don’t think will be the case, as it will kill collectors interest in future mode...

If you love a watch, why is raising in value of any importance?

 By: shortys home : May 27th, 2019-21:17
My personal take is: enjoy the timeless design, the attention to detail and the flawless quality. If you look for investment you are stuck with 0.001% of all nice watches available. Cheers Henrik

Interesting for a re-edition...

I remember Bremont doing a propeller rotor on the EP120 back in 2009. The edition was just 120 pieces. ...

And originally the P51 - 251 pieces Cpt [nt]

No message body

That vintage specimen is really rare and tasty

The new one is not bad either but I question the value for money Is it worth x-times the price of the Zenith released a couple of years ago? Not sure... Beautifully executed though and the second sub-dial at 12 h chronograph makes a lot of sense

I agree totally, good move!

Wow! Those are beautiful shots!

But, I have to say, you are making me nervous. I immediately called the NYC Boutique for the Kuda when I saw the announcement. The email confirmation states they will contact me closer to the release date for a deposit and then put me on the official list...

Immediate hit

Really love this watch. Now that we see the online reception, it looks like this could have been a regular production piece. Like the Fifty Fathoms, it could have been a cornerstone in the Blancpain collection for more than a decade without significant re...

It really looks very nice. Not my kind of decoration for the movement, and the pushers could be a bit further from the crown like in the original. Thanks for the live pics. Vte

Close but misses for me....

My issues are the gimmicky rotor, lack of manual wind altogether and lack of running seconds. December but would not buy. Darren

I have waited to make sure I am not just drinking the kool-aid on this one...

 By: MichaelC : May 28th, 2019-10:01
But after taking some days to ponder it, I can say I love the look of this watch. The rotor does not bother me, but as usual for me I would much prefer a solid caseback. The bezel on this new edition is so appealing, it alone makes me want the watch on my...
