Why did Blancpain decide to do a smaller case size production run of the Air Command before the Fifty Fathom? I swear some of these watch company do not know their own product, company, and the market.

… first, 2023 is the 70th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms. This may play a significant role regarding a smaller regular FF imho. Second, we (enthusiasts and forum members) are not the market. We are a tiny fraction of the market. Third, the AC03 is posit... 

However, the market has spoken that a 40-42mm case size are in demand. It is not just enthusiasts. Just look at Rolex, AP, Patek, Cartier, and Omega on how much their 40-42mm case size contribute to their success.

I have to see it in the flesh 1st however
