Love how Blancpain has grown the 50 Fathoms! IMO BP has developed the 50 Fathoms very thoughtfully compared to similar styles like the AP ROO or the Seamaster

I do wonder though what if anything would be different now if BP had made the bracelet the default config and thrown the sailcloth in as an accessory. BP had the ultimate steel sports watch in 2007 but I think it was left behind a bit during the recent hype cycle for lack of a bracelet (not saying that's a bad thing). Sure, the x71 exists but it's like a bigfoot sighting for the average buyer - I've still never seen one in person. I remember going into the Blancpain NYC boutique a few years ago prepared to retire the Sea Dweller that day and the boutique not only didn't have a bracelet to try but they had trouble just digging up a picture.

Love my BP but I bet it would get more wrist time if there was a titanium bracelet for it smile

Barakuda, Tribute to Milspec, Ocean Commitment, Nageurs de Combat, Blue, Titanium, and so on... The first to fo the saga is this one. The luxurious competitor of the Rolex Submariner... Ala Blancpain. Best, Nicolas ...

A great sports watch...but...

I would definitely want to wear the BP FF rather than Rolex sports watches...but the FF size is a non-starter. BP had a great opportunity to release a smaller FF with the big date version. Too bad.

Well said. [nt]

42mm should have been sufficient.

As I own three of the 5015 iterations, it is clear I like this watch. Being honest, and I do not say this lightly, I consider the 5015 the most complete and comprehensively convincing modern watch I have encountered. I hear the complaints about the 45mm, ...

Couldn’t agree more with you
