A first glimpse...

... on the brand new, limited to 88 pieces and Boutique exclusive, Villeret Ultraplate in platinum with a stunning blue sunburst dial.

The simple elegance of reference 6605 finds its more extrovert elements in the blue dial combined with the applied roman numerals and skeleton leaf hands.

The Villeret Ultraplate measures 40mm in diameter and 7,39mm in height. This next shot is my absolute favorite since it captures the essence of this exceptional watch:

The timepiece is powered by caliber 11A4B, based on the well known cal 1150 but reduced by the automatic winding mechanism and enriched by a subtle power reserve indicator.

Superb. No date, manual winding movement ( even if it is an automatic base ) and good height. Now, I would have to see the diameter as 40 mm might be a tad too big. [nt]

One of the nicest recent Blancpain models since their 6-masterpieces collection. I only wish the watch were smaller, maybe at 36-38mm instead of 40.

I think when you want the watch to appeal in all parts of the world, 39/40 is still the common denominator. But clearly it would be fantastic in 37/38 as well 😉 [nt]

The movement would fit better in a smaller case, Breguet used to produce a dress watch with the same movement in 35mm (5907) which was a great model. But, this Blancpain is still a very nice watch.
