And your photos and posts have been a great inspiration to expand further into Blancpain! It was not in my radar many years ago and now I appreciate the brand much more especially for its diving legacy and history. Looking forward to seeing your next post... 

It's a timepiece definitely that fits well into that category. Reminds me of the feeling when Panerai first came out with the PAM001 and 002 and I put the watch on my wrist! Cheers Peter

Interesting to see that they are indeed different in character. I find the Barakuda ever so slightly casual whilst the mil-spec is more modern. The Patina of the markers makes a big difference here. I must give kudos to Blancpain for making another wonder...  

It was also special to see the series number to match my birthdate. Maybe destiny has been calling to get this piece? Any excuse to get another timepiece Peter

Looking forward to trying this on a future dive

The representative was a bit shocked how quickly I decided to confirm taking the watch after viewing it a minute (I had not seen it in the flesh at that point). Very happy and also special I purchased this in Germany
