After the rubber OEM strap died I went shopping for a new strap. Didn’t go for the rubber option but went for leather. Thought the Aqualung needed something different and therefore didn’t make the obvious choice for black but went for chocolate brown with...

I have the same one now on my 2850 Aqualung Grande date, too. Enjoy---by-the-way, have the same strap on my original BlancpaiN Military Moon 2763 from 21 years ago!

I would say 21 years is a long time ago but this one is already 14 years on my wrist; time flies…

The AL is a fine example of a sport watch that is good value that surely should be produced today. Rich dark dial with raised markers and a nice display back. Blancpain has really moved away from this design. I chose to return to the Chopard Luc Sport 200...  

Funny coincidence is that my AD pointed out the Luc to me when I was looking for the AL; indeed very special with this microrotor.
