My only "complaint" is the price. Same with the Air Command. On the other side these are collector's pieces, with an interesting movement and in short supply.

to me thats what prevent me from buying any submariner vs dreaming for 5517.

All the marking would add character better vs each 5 minute. perhaps very minimalist 5 minutes mark since the hour mark is too gorgeous to add anything on 5 minutes.

I think the original from the 60ies was 39 mm, but not sure.

50% of MSRP for a full set! I was lucky with that one.

And they are all spoken for.

... even without the Tropic strap attached 😗 The coin edge bezel makes it appear a notch larger than the MilSpec or OC III, the white lacquered hands give it a lot of character, besides the dial of course. As for the price, it’s the same level as the MilS...
