Need help in identifying what I believe is a vintage Blancpain ....

Hey gents, I'm trying to ID the following watch. It looks to me like one of the many Blancpain variations, but I'm not certain. I'm very familiar with the Fifty Fathoms and TR-900 models, but this looks to have a smaller case, numerals @ 12, and triangula...

Possibly the Bathyscaphe?

Looks like it could be the Bathyscaphe? Opinions welcome! Thanks again, B.

Bathyscaphe ??

Yes , to me it looks like the Bathyscaphe watch . With the number 12 and follow by the triangle for all the 3 corner at 3-6-9 o'clock position . Sorry if my explanation is not correct .

Not a Batyscaphe, which has numerals at 3 / 6 / 9 / 12, or none, by the way.

Sorry to not be able to help you, Billy, but when it comes to small FF cases, I am lost. Best, Nicolas

I believe this is the Bathyscaphe ....

Numerals at 12, triangular markers at 3 / 6 / 9, small case ... seems to match perfectly, as does the timeline for photo and watch. Kind regards, B. ...

As I said, I am lost when it comes to small vintage FFs...

The small case Blancpains are a minefield and have there seem to be a huge number of variants. I'm delighted to have figured this one out; very cool to know the US military were using yet another variant of the BP. Kind regards, B.
