The first Blancpain 2020 novelties have just been communicated

Well, besides the Valentine models that is. The beautiful combination of blue dial and red gold case found two new interpretations after last year’s „La Dolce Vita“ Fifty Fathoms: the Villeret Ultra Plate and the Villeret Quantieme Complet, both with 40mm...

So true, my friend! [nt]

I've always appreciated these Perpetuals by Blancpain

Especially the innovative correctors on the lugs

You are right

A perfect example of my complete lack of French overriding what I already knew. Personally, I'd prefer a triple calendar over a Perpetual. Thanks Henrik for the correction

Has anyone owned a Villeret on that particular bracelet (or any other similar mesh bracelet)? Thoughts on its design versus other types of bracelets? I have been yearning for a rose gold/sunburst blue dialed watch, yet not going to plunge for a RO 15202.

The Milles Mailles bracelet...

... is as difficult to assemble as the RO bracelet, all loops (each row contains 8 loops and there’s a consistent tapering between the rows)are assembled by hand. The bracelet is very flexible and comfortable on the wrist. It is a lot more shiny than a RO...

I didn't realize...

...that the bracelet tapers on this model - impressive! Definitely a unique watch all-around, but it might be a bit too refined for my age

It’s my favorite, too! [nt]

No year window, so it is more a calendar.
