By differentiating and adding a Tech series being 100% true to what is great and preferable for divers, I would argue Blancpain are doing themselves a great favor, allowing them to develop the Automatiques in a different direction, more to the preferences of seasoned collectors as your goodselves. Blancpain makes no compromises with respect to capabilities with the Tech series, and HEV + the rubber strap needs to be a part of that package. I believe the series will only add to their reputation, and further enhance the regard for the fantastic Automatiques.
