...to also make a no-date version. This forum of watch enthusiasts/experts seem to be almost unanimously against the date window.
It seems that the marketing department was asleep at the wheel by not doing any sort of user testing/polling ahead of time. Or if they did, ignored it. What a wasted opportunity.
It is sad that this sort of thing seems to happen time after time. There is almost always some sort of physical (in this case) blunder. Or more often a graphical one (too much writing on the dial seems to be the biggest offender).
These very large corporations seem to have gigantic budgets to promote the watches after they’ve been made, but zero dollars and/or no common sense to do market research on the front end.
Very frustrating.
