And, despite a few niggles I still really enjoy wearing it.
Although its existence hasn't been officially confirmed, I can tell you from personal experience that at least one U.S. Seiko Boutique has an active waiting list for a 6105 (a.k.a. "Captain Willard") reissue

When I attended in 2017 I saw this SLA017 and totally fell for it. I called a Grand Seiko AD in my area right from the Seiko booth at Basel, gave a deposit and got myself first on the wait list. It is probably the watch I wore most in 2018. Not too crazy ...
