I reserved the SLA017 in part due to your remarks after having seen it in Basel.
And, despite a few niggles I still really enjoy wearing it.
Although its existence hasn't been officially confirmed, I can tell you from personal experience that at least one U.S. Seiko Boutique has an active waiting list for a 6105 (a.k.a. "Captain Willard") reissue

I have also been on the hunt for an SLA025 but hard to find at a reasonable price
The pics I saw of the SLA025 didn't do it for me.
Maybe the shine, maybe the size, maybe the combination thereof..? Although I'm a little hesitant about how large the 6105 reissue might be I like the design enough to get myself on the waiting list, or more accurately the waiting list from which to place ...
