The new product launched by Urwerk was the 103T, or ‘Tarantula’. While it is different from the existing 103 with regards to construction and motion of the satellite arms, it is not that different. The 103 is getting long in tooth and the derivatives of the original that Urwerk puts out each year are getting less and less interesting. While I’m sure the 103 is a good money-spinner for Urwerk, it needs to be substantially updated or discontinued.

PVD-coated platinum 103T
Also on display were several new engraved Urwerks decorated by Jean-Vincent Huguenin, who works for several other large brands, in addition o Urwerk. He does excellent work and the engraving changes not only the look, but also the perceived shape and size, of an Urwerk. The 201 looks radically different with an engraved case.
Later in the year Urwerk will present a new watch with a linear time display. Francois-Xavier posted some pictures of the movement here.
