Well, like the 'super thin' RM needed a large external tool....
...the MIT version can easily be read... via electron microscope, so like the RM you just need an 'extra' bit. LOL
I read today that 1960's Corvette engines had 250-300 parts.
In my wristwatch research, I've documented 281 watch movements that have more than 250 parts. Amazing - as many parts as a Corvette engine in a very, very small case!
Does that include screws, washers, nuts n bolts etc?
And are those included in watches? Gaskets? Just curious who counts what.
Sorry, I don't have details, just "something I read on the internet", lol
.... but I bet the watch parts counts do include every little bit!
The Corvette engine will rev drastically faster than anything inside a watch, though 😉
